Program Description
Digital design students acquire skills to become a digital designer. Emphasis is placed on design, digital imagery and typography.
Practical Experience
Students use computers and software applications to create graphics and page layouts for traditional printing or in cyberspace. Students have access to a modern, state of the art, Macintosh computer lab where they learn the professional applications of Photoshop, Illustrator, In Design, Flash and Dreamweaver.
Professional Opportunities
Graphic or digital designer for advertising agencies, the printing industry, newspapers, magazines, corporations and educational institutions.
Unique Aspects
This program is designed for graduates of the Digital Design certificate program. Students enrolling in this program complete the associate degree by adding business and computer technology courses.
