Respiratory Care Accreditation & Outcomes
The Respiratory Care Program is accredited by the Commission on Accreditation for Respiratory Care (CoARC - see www.coarc.com) which is sponsored by The American Association for Respiratory Care, the American College of Chest Physicians, The American Society of Anesthesiologists and The American Thoracic Society.
Each year, every respiratory program must report statistical information regarding their program to CoARC. In order to:
1) Make a meaningful contribution to the body of information available to consumers of higher education services;
2) Provide institutions with a way to communicate with the public regarding accreditation; and
3) Enhance public understanding of accreditation and confidence in higher education.
The following link provides the outcomes data to include credentialing success, attrition rate, job placement, program enrollees and graduates for the prior three year reporting period of all accredited respiratory programs.
