Home for the Summer? Become an SCC Transient Student
Students enrolled at other colleges and who wish to take courses at SCC for the purpose of transferring the credit hours back to the home institution. It is the responsibility of the student to determine if the courses at SCC will transfer to the home institution. If a transient permission form or a college transcript is not submitted, the applicant must take the appropriate section of the
COMPASS or ASSET skills assessment. Transient students are not eligible for VA benefits or financial aid at SCC.
- Complete and submit a SCC application for admissions.
Provide transient permission form and/or college transcripts to determine course placement or take the appropriate section of the COMPASS or ASSET skills assessment.
Be 18 years of age or older.
Meet with an admissions counselor for acceptance to the college.
