Campus Emergency Management Team


The SCC Campus Emergency Management Team (CEMT) is comprised of college faculty, staff and students. CEMT was formed to develop, manage and maintain a comprehensive emergency management plan for the College to ensure that SCC is prepared to effectively respond to campus emergencies.

In September 2008, twenty-four SCC faculty, staff and students participated in Campus-Community Emergency Response Team (C-CERT) training through the Spartanburg County Office of Emergency Management. The College plans to offer C-CERT training throughout the year to give all SCC faculty, staff and students the opportunity to learn and participate in emergency management training and planning for the College.
